Overview
of this site:
Creative Hardscape Company has been in business since 1995. The bulk of
our work in the early years was in the residential community. Quickly
and inevitably, we grew into the commercial market. Since then, we have
delivered professional installations at the Denver Zoo, the Denver
Performing Arts Center and the Cherry Hills Country Club. As our
skills, knowledge and professionalism have matured, we have been called
by the areas more prestigious and recognized architectural firms to
provide architectural presentations. To this day, however, residential
work gives our company a sense of appreciation that is unmet in the
commercial market. Whether commercial or residential, we would look
forward to providing you, our customer, with a free estimate for the
most professional and artistic design and installation.
Please do not hesitate to call 303-914-8525.
What Makes Us Better:
Creative Hardscape Company, one of the area’s leading hardscape
installers, recognizes our customers have a choice when it comes to
selecting a contractor to work on their property. We would like to have
a moment and state clear what makes Creative Hardscape Company
different from our competitors.
Creative Hardscape Company has been in the business for a number of
years now. Through these years, our core group of individuals,
including president and foremen, has remained the same. Over this time,
we have acquired a certain level of integrity and craftsmanship that is
uncommon in the industry. We have attained certifications, area
recognition and a well deserved reputation as skilled and respectable
contractors attentive to the customer’s wishes and budget.
At Creative Hardscape Company, we take the time necessary to listen and
slowly plan with the customer. On the jobsite, we do not cut corners
but install with a level of integrity that is unmet in the industry.
Our honorable follow up with our customers allows our reputation to
spread. As proof, a good portion of our work is found by word of mouth,
which many believe to be the finest advertising possible.
We are grateful for the opportunity to involve ourselves with our
customers and thank you for considering Creative Hardscape Company. We
have built a showroom to provide a resource for our customers. At our
showroom, we have laid out different materials, including but not
limited to concrete pavers, brick pavers, stone pavers and natural
stone veneer in all sorts of patterns and colors. This has proven
useful to our customers in that it allows them the opportunity to both
select materials, colors and patterns for their project and more
represents the final installation. In other words, a customer more
fully understands their options and what to expect.
By appointment only. The term "hardscaping" is a newer one in the
construction and building industry. It generally means any "hard" site
pavements as opposed to "soft" landscaped surfaces. Creative Hardscape
Company specializes in the consultation, design and construction of
certain hardscape systems: brick, stone and concrete interlocking
pavers. These systems are also known as "segmental pavements". Note our
business is in the industry of "units" (brick, stone, concrete pavers)
and not that of anything "poured" (asphalt, concrete). We also are
installers of retaining walls and site masonry. The majority of our
business is in the installation of unit pavements.
Segmental pavements come in a variety of materials and patterns. For
years, brick, stone and concrete pavers have been used in many
applications, from airport runways to backyard patios. Unit pavements
are used both for their interlocking and strength capabilities and for
their aesthetic nature.
We offer our residential customers "snowmelt" systems. Essentially, at
the flick of a switch, any snow is melted and drained away from any
surface. Our very satisfied customers enjoy "sipping coffee and
watching the snow melt away". Retaining walls are used to retain the
earth's soils in both engineering and decorative applications. They can
be seen "holding up" shopping centers and at private residences where
the owner has decided to make the most of his land.
In addition to unit pavers and retaining walls, Creative Hardscape
Company provides site masonry. These include masonry walls made of
natural stone or brick and block, fire-pits, outdoor kitchens and all
types of decorative stone work.
Segmental hardscapes offer appeal and worth that other pavements cannot
match. It is difficult for any concrete or asphalt to compete with the
look and feel of brick. It is impossible for any stamped concrete to
match the inherent beauty of natural stone. And the good news is that
if properly installed by skilled craftsmen, this beauty will last far
longer than any poured-in-place surface can offer.
By its nature, a segmental hardscape system is the best solution to
frequent freeze-thaw cycling. A common misperception is that segmental
pavements are ill-suited for this sort of climate. It is agreed by
knowledgeable engineers and architects to be
the very best when installed properly. Unit pavements are the most
durable pavement surface. For example, a concrete paver has three times
the pounds-per-square-inch (PSI) compressive strength than
poured-in-place concrete. This allows for pavers to receive a plow to
clear snow without any difficulty. The re-sale return of a segmental
pavement is one of the highest in the real estate industry.
Additionally, unit pavers offer that certain "curb appeal" that
immediately attracts any potential buyer. They are virtually
maintenance free.
Segmental pavements are quickly set, allowing for immediate pedestrian
and vehicular access, important to streetscaping or similar
developments. There is no need for concrete to cure or asphalt to
harden.
With any need, such as underground utility work, unit pavers are
removed and reset instantly. Unsightly "spot patches" are avoided,
allowing for a quick, aesthetic and uniform pavement presence.
Many architects turn to unit pavements to deliver that special "sense
of place".
